Jerry Reed Hubbard (born March 20, 1937) is an American country music singer, country guitarist, songwriter, and actor who has appeared in over a dozen films. As a singer, he may be best remembered for his songs "When You're Hot, You're Hot," for which he received the Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 1972 and Eastbound and Down, the theme song to the first [[Smokey and the Bandit] movie in which he portrayed "Snowman".
Jerome Reed (born October 8, 1955 in Bryson City, North Carolina), is a retired professional baseball player who pitched in the Major Leagues from 1981-1990.
Jerry Reed now plays guitar in the High Definition Service of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, where he makes use of his killer shreds, his super strats, and his chugging Vetta II.

He had aspirations of becoming the next Randy Johnson, but those were cut quick because he was released by several MLB teams. His worst ERA was 7.71 in the year of 1981 and he only pitched one game that year.
