Jason Reitman (born October 19 1977) is a Canadian Academy Award-nominated film director, writer, producer and actor, best known for directing the films Thank You for Smoking and Juno.

Son of director Ivan Reitman and Geneviève Robert. Brother of Catherine Reitman and Caroline Reitman.

In the opening-title sequence of Thank You for Smoking (2005), which used the graphic motif of traditional cigarette cartons, Jason's credit is accompanied by the text "Est'd 1977." This is his year of birth.

Graduated from Harvard-Westlake School (North Hollywood, CA) in 1995
