Jason Gardiner (born 11 June 1971) is a choreographer, singer and theatre producer currently best known as a judge on the top rated ITV1 show, Dancing On Ice. He was previously a judge on the first series of the BBC's Strictly Dance Fever. In 2006, he was also one of the judges invited to take part in Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice, an Australian version of Dancing on Ice, screened on the Nine Network.
Jason Gardiner was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Austrailia and is the ultimate culture vulture on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy UK, having spent 17 years in the entertainment industry as an actor, singer, and dancer. He trained at the Australian Ballet School and Broadway Dance, Steps NYC, the Actors Centre - Sydney, London and New York and earned a Scholarship at the New York Performing Arts Centre. Theatre roles include Cats, 42nd Street, West Side Story, Chicago, Oklahoma, in performances across Australia, London, the U.S., Lebanon and Lisbon, Portugal. Jason has also appeared as dance captain/choreographer for Kylie Minogue, Bjork, Cher, Marc Almond, Gareth Gates and many more. Film and TV work include roles as artist/choreographer for 'Surviving Picasso' and 'Cats the Movie', plus MTV Mondo Shows: A Midsummer Night's Dream and Studio 54. He's also choreographed adverts for Colgate, ScuzzTV and Elton John's Championship/Premiership Football ident on BSkyB TV.
