Jane Elliot (born January 17, 1947 in New York, New York) is an Emmy award-winning American actress. She has played Tracy Quartermaine on two TV series: General Hospital (1978-1980, 1989-1993, 1996, 2003-present) and The City (1996-1997), and also won several awards including a Daytime Emmy in 1981 for Best Supporting Actress.
Her career has also extended beyond television appearances to include dramatic roles for film and Broadway, television production credits, and numerous commercial voiceovers. Notable film appearances, for example, include Change of Habit, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Baby Boom. Elliot also produced the daytime series Loving and has provided voiceover talent for Dove soap commercials.
Jane Elliot resides in the Los Angeles area with her daughter, Annie Rose. Her son Adrian resides in San Francisco and attends the San Francisco Art Institute.
