James Faulkner (born 18 July 1948) is an English actor. Known for his many various appearance on television and in movies.
Faulkner made his big screen debut as Josef Strauss in The Great Waltz in 1972. He appeared in other films such as Whispering Death, played Lt Teignmouth Melvill in Zulu Dawn that he co-produced, and appeared as Uncle Geoffrey in both Bridget Jones films. He has also portrayed Agent Smith in the movie Hitman. He was also the pricipar antagonist Baron Mullins in the short-lived US/UK television show, Covington Cross.

James Peter Faulkner (born April 29, 1990, _Launceston, Tasmania) is an is an Australian cricket player, who received a rookie contract to play for the Tasmanian Tigers in the 2007/08 season. He is the son of former Tigers player, Peter Faulkner, and plays club cricket for Launceston Cricket Club. He attends Launceston Church Grammar School in year 12 (2008). He is a talented allrounder who has represented Tasmania at under-17, under-19, and second XI levels, and has also been picked for an Australian under-19 tour of Malaysia.
