Ja'net Du Bois (pronounced Ja-NAY Doo-BWAH) (August 5, 1945) is an African American film and television actress.

Ja'net Du Bois is perhaps best known for her portrayal of the wise-cracking, gossip haven neighbor Willona Woods on the 1970s sitcom Good Times. Du Bois also co-wrote and sang the theme song of the long-running sitcom The Jeffersons, and has appeared in a number of other television programs (usually as a guest star) and in films. Du Bois also played the grandmother on the hit show The Wayans Bros..

She co-starred in the movie I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, the hit sitcoms Moesha and The Steve Harvey Show, and has most recently appeared in the 2003 summer blockbuster, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. She won an Emmy for her work on the TV movie Other Women's Children based on the novel by Perri Klass, as well as two Emmys for her voiceover work on the animated program The PJs. She also appeared in the 1969 made-for-TV holiday film J.T..

She is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

Best known for her portrayal of the sassy, energetic busybody and neighbor Willona on the classic 70s TV series "Good Times," that's her voice you hear on the 'Movin' on Up' theme from "The Jeffersons," which she also co-wrote and composed.
