Isiah Lord Thomas III (/aɪˈzeɪə/) (born April 30, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois) is a retired American professional basketball player in the NBA, and is currently the head coach and president of basketball operations for the NBA's New York Knicks. He was also referred to by the nicknames Zeke, Cuts (for the numerous cuts over his eyelids), The Baby-faced Assassin, The Smiling Assassin, and Tuss. During the NBA's 50th anniversary, he was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History.
Isiah Thomas (b 1989 in Detroit) is an American amateur boxer best known to win the first ever Junior World Boxing Championship for the United States at the 2005 Cadet World Championships on October 18 in Liverpool, England.
