"Ignition (Remix)" is a single by R&B singer R. Kelly from his Chocolate Factory album in 2003. The song was a remix to the previous Ignition. It peaked at number 2 in the Billboard charts in the United States and number 1 in the United Kingdom and Australia that year. It is known for its catchy hook, It's the remix to Ignition, hot and fresh out the kitchen, mama rollin that body, got every man in here wishin...sippin on coke and rum, I'm like so what I'm drunk...it's the freakin weekend baby I'm about to have me some fun. Kelly wrote, produced and arranged the song.
Ignition is the first track off Metal band Trivium's third album, The Crusade. Like "Detonation", its lyrics are politically orientated. "Detonation" lyrically and musically follows on from "Ignition". The two songs could be interpreted as a joint attempt to show what political turmoil the world is coming to as a result of ignorance and corruption among government and authorities.
