"I'm n Luv (Wit a Stripper)" is a single performed by American R&B artist T-Pain featuring rapper Mike Jones. It peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, making it T-Pain's second top 10 single, and Mike Jones' first. This is T-Pain's third successful single up to date, tying with his other "Bartender", but Mike Jones's most successful single up to date.
A controversial song, it centers around a man who goes to a strip club and wants to take a certain girl over to his place to spend the night. Due to the subject and the language, a censored version was made, called "I'm n Luv (Wit a Dancer)"; some radio stations play the censored version, some the original. Also, the original version of the music video never made it on TV, presumably due to content, forcing a second music video to be made. The controversy intensified after the Duke University lacrosse team scandal, the song was taken off the airwaves and the single was taken off store shelves.
A remix had been done featuring Twista, Pimp C, Paul Wall, R. Kelly, MJG and Too Short titled "I'm n Luv (Wit a Stripper) 2 - Tha Remix". A video has also been released for this remix.
An additional remix with the various artists includes verses by Busta Rhymes and Pitbull. Moreover, in the iTunes' Triple Play single, it includes a reggaeton remix.
Another remix features Keak Da Sneak titled "I'm n Luv wit a Ripper".
The song is parodied by "Weird Al" Yankovic with "I'm n Luv wit the Skipper" during his Straight Outta Lynwood Tour.
Akon's song "I Wanna Love You" has many strong resemblances/similarities with this song in the sense that it also involves strong sexual metaphors with a stripper, and that the main protagonist of the song is attracted to a woman in a strip bar.
