"I'm Gonna Be Alright" (Track Masters Remix) is the second single from Jennifer Lopez's third album, J to tha L-O!: The Remixes. Released in 2002, the single features rapper Nas and is a double A-side along with "Alive". It peaked at number ten in the U.S., becoming Lopez's sixth top ten single; it also peaked at number three in the UK.
"I'm Gonna Be Alright" originally first appeared on the 2001 album J. Lo. The Track Masters Remix later appeared on the album J to tha L-O!: The Remixes. The original Track Masters Remix featured (at that time new rapper) 50 Cent. The original remix is obtainable through the remix album. At that time of the single release Jennifer Lopez chose rapper Nas for the radio version. Nas re-recorded new rap verses and the track was cut down to 2:56 and became the Track Masters Remix Radio Edit. The remix featuring Nas was later made available on the U.S. commercial CD single release of "I'm Gonna Be Alright"/"Alive". Nas' version also later appeared on the European edition of her 2002 album This Is Me... Then.
The beat contains re-adaptions of the instrumental used on Luniz' 1995 "I Got 5 on It", a song which itself sampled Club Nouveau's 1987 "Why You Treat Me So Bad".
