"I'd Do Anything" is the second single to be taken from Simple Plan's debut album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls. It features vocals from Mark Hoppus (formerly of blink-182 fame, now +44).
The song is basically about a relationship breakup with a girlfriend and the desperate attempts to get her back. The music video for the song revolves around kids trying to get into a concert (featuring Simple Plan) by first impressing the doorman. Hoppus also features in the video. The video was also a hit on MTV's Total Request Live.
"I'd Do Anything" is a song written and recorded by English New Wave/Dance band Dead or Alive. It was co-produced by the band and Zeus B. Held and released as the third single from Dead or Alive's album Sophisticated Boom Boom.
The song was the third consecutive single by Dead or Alive to miss the UK Top 75, hitting number seventy-nine in the UK Singles Chart. The band's fortunes would reverse with the release of their next single, a cover version of "That's the Way (I Like It)".
