Hula is a 1927 silent film by Victor Fleming, based on the novel Hula, a Romance of Hawaii by Armene von Tempski.

HULA tells the story of one woman and her quest to inform and enlighten the world regarding the endless wonder that is the hula-hoop. Hula demonstrates, that even in this often cold and digital age, the enduring joy of polyurethane plastic rhythmically swinging around your hips is still as intoxicating as it was back in 1958.
