Herbert (also Mr. Herbert) is a fictional character in the FOX animated sitcom Family Guy. He is voiced by Mike Henry. He is an elderly and eccentric ephebophile and possibly pedophile who resides down the street from the Griffins and constantly flirts with Chris Griffin. He uses a walker for support and sometimes whistles as he speaks due to missing teeth. In season 6, he is shown as a World War I combat veteran (with two Wound Chevrons) and refers to his Purple Heart which suggests he is also a World War II combat veteran.
