Gwynyth Walsh is a Canadian actress born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and raised in Vancouver. Walsh earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Alberta and started her career appearing on stage across Canada and in the U.S. in many classics. For Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing she won a Dramalogue Award - Best Actress for her portrayal of Beatrice. Her first appearance on screen was in a 1984 TV musical Iolanthe.
Famous among Star Trek sequel fans for her portrayal of "B'Etor", a female Klingon.
She grew up in Vancouver, BC, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Alberta. She has appeared on stage in several productions in Canada and the US.
While doing research for her character -- a forensic pathologist -- on "Da Vinci's Inquest" (1998), she interviewed a female pathologist in British Columbia (where women pathologists outnumber their male counterparts). She attended an autopsy and visited a morgue.
