"Get Down" is the third and final single released from Nas' 2002 album God's Son. It features descriptive storytelling by Nas and funk-based production by Nas and Salaam Remi. The beat samples "Funky Drummer" and "The Boss" by James Brown as well as "Rock Creek Park" by The Blackbyrds. It wasn't as popular as Nas' previous two singles from God's Son, but still reached #76 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
"Get Down" is a song by electronic music group Groove Armada featuring Stush and Red Rat. It was released officially on April 30, 2007. The song had already been released as an EP on the iTunes Store. The CD and downloads contain remixes of the song. . Pleix created a music video for the title track. It became their first top ten single in Groove Armada's history, peaking at #9 on the UK Singles Chart.
It later reached number 1 on the UK Dance Chart.
