Gary Lamar Walker (born February 28, 1973 in Royston, Georgia) is a former American football player who played defensive end, most recently for the Houston Texans of the NFL. He accumulated 148 tackles and 15 sacks in two seasons at Auburn University, earning second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors as a senior. Before Auburn, he attended Hinds Junior College. He was drafted in the 1995 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. Acquired by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 1999 expansion draft, he was an alternate selection to the 2001 Pro Bowl. Signed by the Houston Texans in 2002, he was selected to the Pro Bowl in that year. Subsequently plagued by injuries. Severed his triceps muscle during the 2005 season, and was waived by the Texans in March of 2006.
Gary Walker (born Gary Leeds, 9 March 1942, Glendale, California) was the drummer, and vocalist with both The Standells and The Walker Brothers.
In 1967 he founded Gary Walker and The Rain, which consisted of Joey Molland (guitar and vocals); Charles "Paul" Crane (lead vocals, guitar); and John Lawson (bass guitar).
