Francisco James Muñiz IV (born December 5, 1985), better known as Frankie Muñiz, is an Emmy Award- and Golden Globe Award-nominated American actor and full time Formula Atlantic driver. He was the star of the Fox Network television situation comedy, Malcolm in the Middle, as well as several films aimed at preteen and teen audiences, including Big Fat Liar, Agent Cody Banks and Stay Alive. By 2003, Muniz was considered "one of Hollywood's most bankable teens". He was also the original voice of Chester McBadbat on the Nickelodeon animated television series The Fairly OddParents from 2001 until 2003 (when Jason Marsden took over).
Frankie has been home-schooled since Grade Six. He started his acting career performing the role of Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol" for three years. Nominations for his performances include "The Hollywood Reporter Young Star Award", as well as "The Young Artist of Hollywood Award". Frankie is quite a good golfer and has been playing since his grandfather taught him at the age of 5. Frankie was raised in Knightdale, North Carolina. He currently resides with his family in New Jersey.
