"Falling into You" is the title track from Céline Dion's 1996 hit album Falling into You, released as the first single in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on February 19 1996. In other parts of the world "Because You Loved Me" was released as the first single.
"Falling into You" is a cover of Marie Claire D'Ubaldo's 1994 song.
The music video was directed by Nigel Dick between January 18-19, 1996 in Gorbio, France and released in February 1996.
The maxi-single included "Le ballet," which was released as promotional single in France, earlier the same year.
"Falling into You" reached #1 in Spain. It was a top ten hit in Poland (#3), Norway (#8) and the United Kingdom (#10). The single sold 170,000 copies in the UK and 165,000 in France, where it remains undercertified (should be silver).
Dion performed this song live during her Falling into You Tour.
"Falling into You" became a part of two compilations: Australian edition of All the Way... A Decade of Song in 1999 and The Collector's Series Volume One in 2000.
