Erin Daniels (born October 9, 1973) is an American actress.
Daniels was born Erin Cohen in St. Louis, Missouri, where she grew up. Her father was an architect and her mother was a clinical social worker. She graduated from _Vassar College with her A.B. degree in Art History and Architecture. Daniels changed her surname from "Cohen" to "Daniels" at the age of 22.
In 2002, the St. Louis Film Festival awarded Daniels the Emerging Star Award. She has appeared in One Hour Photo, Wheelmen, and House of 1000 Corpses before taking on the role of Dana Fairbanks in Showtime's The L Word. She was a prominent cast member for the first three seasons. Her character died of cancer towards the end of the third season, but she appeared in the Season 4 finale. She also appeared in the TV shows Jericho, Dexter and Justice.
She was educated at Vassar College. Upon graduating from there (with a degree in Architecture and Art History), she relocated to New York to begin her entertainment career. She later moved to Los Angeles to further her career.
