Ellie is a 1984 comedy film directed by Peter Wittman and distributed by Troma Entertainment. Set in the deep south, the film follows the titular Ellie (Sheila Kennedy); after witnessing her father's murder at the hands of her stepmother and her three lecherous stepsons, Ellie vows to avenge her father's death using the only weapon she has: her voluptuous body.
The film also features appearances from such noteworthy actors as Shelley Winters, George Gobel, Edward Albert, and Pat Paulsen.
Ellie is also a female name derived from the Greek name Helen, meaning light. It is also a short/pet name for Ellen Eleanor and Eloise.
Set in the backwoods of the deep south. Young, beautiful Ellie has just witnessed the murder of her father at the hands of her evil step-mother Cora and Cora's three lecherous sons, all hoping to get their hand's on Ellie's father's money.
