Electric Wizard are a doom metal band from Dorset, England that formed in 1993. Since their formation, Electric Wizard have recorded six studio albums, two of which are now considered landmarks of the genre: Come My Fanatics... and Dopethrone. They have a distinct yet traditional doom metal sound incorporating stoner and sludge influences, with lyrics typically involving the occult, witchcraft, H.P. Lovecraft and horror films. During 2003, founding members Tim Bagshaw and Mark Greening left to form their own band, Ramesses.

Electric Wizard is a UK stoner / doom band, hailing from Dorset, UK. They were formed in 1993 by lead guitarist and singer, Jus Oborn, and are currently signed to Rise Above Records .
