Sir Horace Edward Moss (1852-25 November 1912) was a British theatre impresario and the founder of the Moss Empires theatre company (now known as the Stoll Moss Group).
Moss was a native of Scotland. He died at his home in Gorebridge.
He married twice: first to Ellen Bramwell, and later to Florence Craig. He and Florence had one daughter.
Moss was knighted in 1906 by King Edward VII.
Edward Moss (born 11 July 1977) is a well-known impersonator of singer Michael Jackson.
While working at McDonald's in the early 1990s, he practiced his act in his spare time after being repeatedly told how much he resembled the singer. In 1994, he won a company talent contest, after which he took up impersonating Jackson as a profession. Since then he has been hired by Jackson himself to stand in for him on a number of occasions, and has appeared in a number of films including the third and fourth Scary Movie films, and Date Movie.
Went to school in Florida with Backstreet Boy performer Nick Carter (II).
Was hired by the real Michael Jackson (I) to stand in for him for a photo-shoot.
Performed as Michael Jackson at Horizons Casino Hotel in Lake Tahoe for 4 years, which proved to be the longest running casino show in that city.
Is the only known Michael Jackson impersonator to have had absolutely no plastic surgery to augment his appearance to more resemble the artist.
Met the real Michael Jackson (I) in 1996 while performing as MJ in Hollywood, California. Michael's response to Eddie was "You look really good."
When hired to perform at a venue in Asia, his manager had to have staff act as bodyguards for him as the audience attending the show had reached mob levels.
