The Diplomats are a Harlem, New York-based hip hop group who are more commonly known as Dipset. The group was formed in 2002 by founding members Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freeky Zeeky. All member albums are released under Diplomat Records to which Freeky Zeeky is the President and, Cam'ron and Jim Jones are Co-CEO's. From its roots in Harlem, New York, The Diplomats have expanded to other countries and feature artists from the United Kingdom and Canada.

The Diplomats refers to two different groups. One, a 60’s soul group from Rural Maryland, the other a hip-hop outfit (also known as Dipset ), a Harlem, New York-based group who previously signed to Roc-A-Fella Records, but now are signed to own label Diplomats Record. Founded by rappers Cam’ron and Jim Jones , the group released their debut album Diplomatic Immunity under their imprint Diplomat Records.
