Dil(Telugu: దిల్) is a 2003 Telugu film which starred Nitin, Neha, and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. V.V. Vinayak directed this film and Dil Raju produced it.
Cute, cocky guy (Raj, played by Aamir Khan) gets blown off by beautiful, rich girl (Madhu, played by Madhuri Dixit) and a feud begins. Their practical jokes turn ugly, however, when the two go on a class trip together and Madhu tricks everyone into thinking Raj has tried to rape her. Now really angry, Raj decides to teach her a lesson by making her think he really is going to rape her. Of course, he cannot go through with it, and the two realize they are falling in love. They marry against their parents' wishes and the movie follows their tumultuous relationship. Written by Anuja
Hazariprasad (Anupam Kher), a dealer in used goods, and not very wealthy, has sights set up sky-high when he announces that his son, Raja (Aamir Khan) will marry a multi-millionaire's daughter. He masquerades as a wealthy industrialist to fool wealthy Mr. Mehra (Saeed Jaffrey), and does succeed in attempting to get his son engaged to Madhur Verma (Madhuri Dixit), however, at that very engagement ceremony, Mehra finds out about Hazariprasad's masquerade humiliates him, and cancels the engagement.
