"Dig" is the debut single from Mudvayne's 2000 album, L.D. 50. The song won the first ever MTV2 Award in 2001.
An exceptionally intense music video was produced for the song which was featured in a "Making of" video. It features the band dressed in makeup and switches off from scenes of the group performing in front of a white background to band members being drenched in a colorful muddy substance.
"Dig" is the second single released by American alternative rock band Incubus from their sixth studio album Light Grenades (2006). It peaked at #4 on the Modern Rock Tracks Chart, and has received huge airplay from alternative rock radio stations, such as KROQ. It has also become a moderate hit on the Adult Top 40 chart, so far peaking at #17.
