Term: 1985-1995 Party: PES]] --> The Delors Commission was the administration of Jacques Delors, the 8th President of the European Commission, over the Commission of the European Communities (European Commission).

It was composed of three separate Commissions: 1985 to 1988, 1989 to 1992 and 1993 to 1994. Thus it was the longest serving Commission and is also seen as the most successful. It was the only Commission to serve three times, and Delors served five two year-terms (as they were then) . The third Commission was the first Commission of the European Union, the Maastricht Treaty having come into force in 1993.
