Defects of Character is a comedy album by comedian Jeff Duran. Released in March 2007, the CD features stand up comedy, songs and interviews. Comedian Brian Holtzman and shock rockers Rebel Rebel contributed songs and material to the CD. The stand up was recorded at the world famous Comedy Store in late 2006. The first 1000 copies came with a limited edition DVD also recorded live at the Comedy Store .

In May 2007, Duran launched a press tour in support of the CD/DVD. Duran was interviewed and featured on XM's National Lampoon Comedy Radio . Duran also toured in support of the CD/DVD. Many fans say this is Duran's funniest and most entertaining release to date .
