When a bunch of runaway robbers in a getaway car hit the tunnel connecting Manhatten and New Jersey. Trouble strikes when they hit a truck full of explosions. After the impact, the tunnel is left weakened and blocked off by both exits, but leaving some survivors. When Kit Latura was about to drive into the tunnel he see the impact and knows he gotta take action. He is given the job, and is sent into the tunnel, but time is running out.
