David Hill (born 1977-07-28) is a former American football wide receiver/linebacker for the Detroit Fury and the Austin Wranglers in the Arena Football League.
David William Hill (born 31 July 1978 in Blenheim, New Zealand) is a rugby union player who played for Waikato in the Air New Zealand Cup and for the Chiefs in the Super 14. He played for Waikato University in the Waikato premier competition. He has played for the All Blacks between 2001 and 2006 in which he has played 1 test and 2 games. His position is fly-half. He now plays for the Bristol Rugby club in the Guinness Premiership. He is the cousin of New Zealand cricket vice-captain Daniel Vettori.
David Hill (1809 – May 9, 1850), was an American pioneer and settler of what became Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. He served in the Provisional Government of Oregon in both the executive and legislative branches, and later as a legislator in the first Oregon Territorial Legislature. Hill made a transaction with the county court in 1850 that led to the renaming of Columbus to Hillsborough in honor of Hill.
David Hill (born on May 13, 1957 in Carlisle, Cumbria), is a choral conductor and organist. His most high profile role is as Chief Conductor of the BBC Singers from September 2007. He was previously Organist and Director of Music at St John's College, Cambridge, in succession to Christopher Robinson from 2002. He formerly held the same title at Winchester Cathedral from 1987 – 2002 and at Westminster Cathedral from 1982 – 1987.
Hill was educated at Chetham's School of Music. He also holds the positions of Musical Director of the Bach Choir, Chief Conductor of the Southern Sinfonia, and Music Director of the Leeds Philharmonic Society. He took up the position of Chief Conductor of the BBC Singers in summer 2007, succeeding Stephen Cleobury. At the same time he will relinquish the St John's position, to be succeeded by Andrew Nethsingha.
In July 2007, Hill succeeded Catherine Ennis as President of the Incorporated Association of Organists.
David Hill (born January 1, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas) is a former professional American football player who played tight end for twelve seasons for the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams. He was selected to two Pro Bowls while playing for the Lions.
