David Franklin (born May 7, 1962) is an Australian actor best known to audiences for his role as Meeklo Braca in the science fiction television series Farscape, and as Brutus in Xena Warrior Princess.
Along with Farscape and Xena, his film appearances also include Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles and The Matrix Reloaded.
David Franklin (17 May 1908 - October 22 1973) was a British opera singer and broadcaster.
Originally trained as a schoolteacher, David Franklin was 28 when he made his professional debut as a bass at Glyndebourne. He sang with both the English and Welsh National Opera companies.
An excellent raconteur, Franklin was, from 1966 to 1973, a panellist on the light-hearted radio panel game My Music, chaired by Steve Race. Ill health forced him to retire in early 1973 during the eighth season of the show. He was replaced initially by Owen Brannigan and later, after Brannigan's sudden death, by John Amis.
