Davetta Sherwood (born January 27, 1984 in Mount Vernon, New York) is an American actress best known for playing the role of Lily Winters on the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless from February 2006 until November 2006, when she was fired by CBS Daytime president Barbara Bloom from the show in favor of bringing back Christel Khalil, who held the role for three years before Sherwood.
Sherwood began acting as a child. She appeared in several school productions throughout middle and high school, music videos, television commercials and a few feature films.
When she isn't working, Sherwood enjoys swimming, basketball, soccer, roller blading, skating, writing and rapping. Although she loves acting, she does have plans to pursue a future in producing, directing and writing. Sherwood currently resides in Los Angeles County.
