Darryl M. Bell (sometimes credited as Daryl Bell) (born on May 10, 1963) is an American actor known for portraying Ronald 'Ron' Johnson on the sitcom A Different World, and as Morris Clay in the sitcom Homeboys in Outer Space. Bell also had a minor part in the 1988 film School Daze.
Bell is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, a significant college fraternity Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans. He pledged into the fraternity through Delta Zeta Chapter in Spring 1982.
Bell is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Darryl M. Bell was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 10, 1963. It wasn't long after graduating from Syracuse University that he was cast as smooth-talking schemer Ron Johnson on "Different World, A" (1987). Bell had a supporting role in Spike Lee's School Daze (1988) alongside Jasmine Guy and Kadeem Hardison. Bell has also appeared in "Living Single" (1993), "Cosby" (1996), "For Your Love" (1998) and co-starred in "Homeboys in Outer Space" (1996).
