Darr (Hindi: डर, Urdu: ڈر, translation: Fear) is a 1993 Bollywood film directed by Yash Chopra. It is the story of an obsessed lover (Shahrukh Khan) and the lengths he goes to get his true love (Juhi Chawla) who's already married to her husband (Sunny Deol). The film is considered one of Shahrukh Khan's best performances and won him acclaim from critics and audiences alike.
Sunil Malhotra who work as a navy soldier is a happy man who lives a middle-class life with his lover Kiran. Rahul Mehra, the son of Captain Mehra, Sunil's boss, also falls in love with Kiran when he met her at college, years back. And then he starts to trouble Kiran by telephoning and threatening her, allot of dreaded fears run through Sunil when he try to find out who is this man. But all his attempts were unsuccessful. One day Sunil decides to take Kiran for a holiday to Swizerland fearing that she may turn insane, this was successful, but they could not have run away from Rahul because he too is a lover.
