Daniel Mann, also known as Daniel Chugerman (August 8, 1912 – November 21, 1991), was an American film and television director.
Daniel Mann was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was a stage actor since childhood, and attended Erasmus Hall High School, New York's Professional Children's School and the Neighborhood Playhouse. He entered films in 1952 as a director, evincing very little flair for visual dynamics but an excellent ear for dialogue. Most of Mann's films were adaptations from the stage (Come Back Little Sheba, Rose Tattoo, Teahouse of August Moon) and literature (BUtterfield 8, Last Angry Man).
Daniel Mann died of heart failure in Los Angeles, California in November 1991.

Mann began his career with Liverpool commercial station Radio City. He made his Sky Sports debut in 2006 covering the Premier League match between Newcastle United and Wigan Athletic.
He also covered a number of live matches during the UEFA Under-21 Championship in the Netherlands in 2007 and has also commentated on the UEFA Champions League and the Northern Ireland national team.

Mann studied acting with Sandy Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse and eventually became his assistant. In the very early days of the Actors Studio (founded in 1947) before Lee Strasberg became its artistic director, Mann was one of its first teachers.
