Daniel Chatto (born 22 April 1957) born Daniel Chatto St. George Sproule, is a British artist and former actor. He is best known as the husband of Lady Sarah Armstrong-Jones, who is the only daughter of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. Chatto married Lady Sarah on 14 July 1994. The Chattos have two children: Samuel, born in 1996, and Arthur, born in 1999.
His parents are the late actor Thomas Chatto Sproule (stage name Thomas Chatto) and theatrical agent Rosalind Chatto.
As an actor, his film and television appearances include:
Married to Sarah Armstrong-Jones, the daughter of Princess Margaret (Sister of Queen Elizabeth II) and Lord Snowdon, and the sister of Viscount Linley.
He attended Bedales Boarding school.
Lives in South Kensington.
28 July 1996: first son Samuel David Benedict Chatto born, 5 February 1999: second son Arthur David Nathaniel Chatto born.
In Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story (1982) (TV), he played his future wife's cousin Prince Andrew.
He is the son of the literary agent Ros Chatto and the theatrical agent Robin Fox and a half-brother of the actors Edward Fox (I) and James Fox (I) and the producer Robert Fox (II).
