Dallas Crane are an Australian alternative rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Dallas Crane was named after a small transport company in Melbourne called Dallas Crane Transport. In January 2004, the band signed a recording and publishing deal with Albert Productions, the home of AC/DC. The band recorded an album with Wayne Connolly, who has also produced You Am I and Underground Lovers. The self-titled album was released mid-July 2004 and the first single, "Dirty Hearts", made the ARIA top 50 on release in 2004. The album was well-received and seen as their best yet. Nominated for three ARIA awards, the album has already been called an Australian Classic.

Recently, Pat performed at the 2004 ARIA awards, and Waveaid, as part of the supergroup The Wrights, featuring members of other Australian rock bands, Jet, The Living End, Powderfinger, Grinspoon, Spiderbait, You Am I & The Pictures.

Dallas Crane are a rock band from Melbourne, Australia. The band consists of Dave Larkin and Pete Satchell sharing Guitar and Vocal duties, with Pat Bourke on Bass and Shannon Vanderwert on Drums. They formed in 1996, originally known as Tempered Kin, but changed and named themselves after a friend’s father, Dallas Crane. Only one line up change has occurred over the bands 10 year history, with original bass player Chris Brodie leaving in 2001, being replaced by Pat Bourke. They have released
