"DOA" is the second song released as a single from the Foo Fighters' fifth album, In Your Honor. It has been released on two different discs. The demo version of this song was released on the 2005 EP, "Five Songs And A Cover". DOA refers to the medical term "dead on arrival." The song reached #1 on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks chart for six non-consecutive weeks.
One of the b-sides, 'Skin and Bones', was performed on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on 1 September. It became a staple of the Foo Fighters' acoustic tour, and became the namesake for the bands first ever live album, "Skin and Bones". In 2007, a marching band arrangement by Michael Brown became available from Hal Leonard Corporation.
