Christine Elise (born February 12 1965) is an American film and television actress.
Elise was born Christine Elise McCarthy in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of artists. She graduated from the prestigious Boston Latin School in 1983. Elise had a recurring role in the final season of China Beach which she has often cited as her best professional experience. She starred as "Kyle" in the 1990 film Child's Play 2. She also had recurring roles on Beverly Hills 90210 and ER. She appeared in the TV movie Vanishing Point with Viggo Mortensen, who requested her for the role. They met on another project, Boiling Point, though her role was largely written out. She also had a recurring role on In the Heat of the Night.
Under her birth name of Christine McCarthy, she has also been pursuing a lifelong love by working as a professional photographer, recently (February 2008) showing her work at the 2-Cup Cafe, in Boston, Massachusetts.
