Christopher Mark Robinson (born December 20 1966 in Marietta, Georgia), better known as Chris Robinson, is the singer of the rock and roll band The Black Crowes and brother of its guitarist Rich Robinson.
Chris Robinson is an African-American music video director, primarily directing videos for hip hop and R&B singles. Among the videos he has helmed are "So Gone" and " Knock Knock" by Monica, "Fallin'" and "You Don't Know My Name" by Alicia Keys, "The Best of Me" by Mya featuring Jadakiss, "One Mic" by Nas, and "Bonnie & Clyde '03" by Jay-Z featuring Beyoncé. Also known for the creation of the concept "Boost Mobile" ad campaigns featuring rap superstars such as Ludacris, The Game, Eve, and others.
He also directed the video for the song "Flowers For The Dead" by Cuban Link. This was a tribute song to Cuban Link's fallen friend, rapper Big Pun.
During 2004 he appeared in the movie "Soul Plane" and in 2006, Chris directed the coming-of-age feature film ATL, starring T.I. and Big Boi.
Chris Robinson (born November 5, 1938 in West Palm Beach, Florida; sometimes credited as Christopher Robinson) is an actor who played Rick Webber #2 on General Hospital. He recently appeared on another soap, "The Bold and the Beautiful" until 2005 as Jack Hamilton.
Robinson was a young adult actor and stunt man and appeared in such films of the 1950's as Diary of a High School Bride and The Beast from Haunted Cave.
Chris is the father of Taylor Joseph Robinson, who also starred on The Bold and the Beautiful as C.J. Garrison #3.
Chris was also convicted of income tax evasion in 1985. He was allowed to continue his role on General Hospital under a prison work-release provision.
Robinson has been married 3 times and has total of 5 sons.
