Chris Palmer (born October 16 1983 in Derby) is an English professional footballer. He currently plays for Wycombe Wanderers.
Palmer works hard for the team and has great pace. He can also deliver a good ball into the box. His best position is left-wing.
He started off at Derby County, but did not get a chance to impress so he joined Notts County in 2004 where he went out to Hereford United on loan for a month (making 3 appearances). He was given a first team place and took it with both hands making 24 appearances for Notts County and scoring 4 goals. Palmer signed for Wycombe in the summer of 2006. He had a run in the 1st team before he spent some time on the sidelines with a dislocated shoulder. He struggled to hold down his place on his return, and was sent on loan to Darlington in August 2007.
Chris Palmer (born September 23, 1949 in Brewster, New York) is a former American football head coach of the Cleveland Browns and former assistant coach of the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, and Houston Oilers of the National Football League.
