Charles M Higson (born 3 July 1958), more commonly known as Charlie Higson, is an English actor and comedian. He has also written and produced for television and is also a successful novelist.
Charlie used to front a band called the Higsons quite some years before the Fast Show
Parents were Douglas and Bille.
Attended the University of East Anglia where he studied American and English Literature and met his future co-star in the Fast Show Paul Whitehouse.
Enjoys gardening.
Is a novelist, some of his books being; Getting Rid of Mr Kitchen, King of the Ants, and more recently a series about a young James Bond during his time at Eton.
Was the third of four brothers.
Is a fan of singer 'Stephen Lynch' after seeing him perform live while visiting a series of comedy clubs in the US.
After university, he worked as a plasterer with Paul Whitehouse. After working in the house shared by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie they were inspired to have a go at comedy.
