Charlie Adams (born October 23, 1979 in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania) is an American football player for the Houston Texans in the National Football League. A wide receiver who played for Hofstra University, he was signed as a college free agent in 2003 by the Denver Broncos. Adams was signed in December of 2006 by the Houston Texans, but was then released by the team on August 26, 2007.
Charlie Adams was a standout in football and track & field at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. He went onto Hofstra University where set records as the all-time leading receiver in school history, records previously held by Wayne Chrebet and Steven Jackson. New Orleans Saints rookie Marques Colston (who is also from Central Pennsylvania) is the latest to hold the all-time yards record at Hofstra.

Charlie Adams is an American drummer, percussionist, drum engineer, composer, and producer. He formed the rock band Chameleon in the 1980s, and was known for his revolving, upside-down drum set. He has been drum lead for Yanni through nine major concert tours. The two have recorded 14 albums, some reaching multi-platinum status; and their music has been used in soundtracks of various films, television, and televised sporting events. Adams is widely recognized for his drum solo on the Yanni Live at the Acropolis music video, and is featured in Yanni Live at Royal Albert Hall and Yanni Live! The Concert Event. He has recorded with Bradley Joseph, and has played for the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, as well as guest performances with various symphonies and percussion ensembles. He gives motivational talks and seminars, conducts drum clinics, and provides private lessons, a few of whom have included Jimmy Chamberlin of the Smashing Pumpkins and Billy Mason, drummer for Tim McGraw. He also runs an on-line music store and owns a 24-track digital recording studio, Adams Apple Studio, in Nashville, TN. As a spokesman for the Autism Society of America, he is co-producing a full-length feature film, Jason's Run, which highlights the challenging disorder of autism.
Charles Adams was an Australian rules footballer who played with Port Adelaide in the SAFL during the 1920s.
The 1921 season was the highlight of Adam's career, he played in a premiership side with Port Adelaide, won their best and fairest award and tied for the Magarey Medal. He lost the Magarey in a count-back but was awarded it retrospectively in 1998. Adams also won Port Adelaide's best and fairest award in 1920 and finished his senior career with 94 games to his name.
