Charles James Correll (February 2, 1890 - September 26, 1972) was an American radio comedian, best known for his work on the Amos 'n' Andy show with Freeman Gosden.
Brother of actor/director Richard Correll, Barbara Correll and Dottie Correll.
Son of Charles J. Correll who is best known for supplying the voice of Andy Brown on the long running radio show "Amos 'n' Andy" (1928-1955).
Was born on the same day as Rutger Hauer.
Shares his birthday with Richard Dean Anderson whom he directed in "MacGyver" (1985), MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday (1994) (TV), "Legend" (1995) and "Stargate SG-1" (1997).
Best known as Andy Brown on the long running radio show "Amos n' Andy".
Correll and Freeman Gosden's "Amos 'n' Andy" (1928-1955) was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1988.
