Buddies is the name of a short-lived sitcom starring Dave Chappelle that aired on ABC in 1996.

Thirteen episodes were produced. But the show was canceled after five episodes. The remaining eight episodes never aired.

Jim Breuer was originally cast as Dave Chappelle's best friend but was fired just eight days before the premiere. The premiere was postponed and re-shoots had to be done with Christopher Gartin in the role.
