After filming over 140 legends for his award-winning feature film "Broadway: The Golden Age, by the Legends Who Were There" producer/director Rick McKay decided to split the cast into two films. The younger cast members were moved to "Broadway: The Next Generation" - which is becoming known as the anxiously awaited sequel to "Broadway: The Golden Age."
Due to the great success of the original film, Broadway: The Golden Age, by the Legends Who Were There (2003), a new sequel, "Broadway: MORE of the Golden Age" (working title) has been scheduled for release before this film which will cover theatre from the early 1980s to the present. Release of this movie is slated for fourth quarter 2006.
