Bradley Ramone Sherwood (born November 24, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actor, comedian, and corporate speaker. He has worked in entertainment as a writer, producer, and actor.
Sherwood grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and began acting at the age of eight. He graduated from Santa Fe Preparatory School then went on to graduate from Wright State University with a BFA in Acting, and soon thereafter took his talents to Hollywood. His first real role was on the sketch-comedy series The Newz, though he also made several guest appearances on L.A. Law as a lovestruck nanny. Sherwood continued to make appearances on The Tonight Show. He also is a regular on VH1 as a commentator.
In 1992, Sherwood became a recurring performer on the improvisational comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway?. After Whose Line?, Sherwood turned his attention to stand-up, and made an appearance on 2002's Jane White Is Sick And Twisted. He also hosted The Dating Game from 1997-98, and The Big Moment in 1999.
He has teamed up with Colin Mochrie to tour the United States and Canada performing classic improv games from Whose Line.
Brad Sherwood became engaged in 2006, and married in February 2007.
On March 28, 2007, Sherwood and Mochrie served as Master of Ceremonies at the Radio and Television Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington D.C.. During the course of this event, Karl Rove, the Deputy Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush, participated in a rap performance during which the dancing Rove shouted "I'm MC Rove!" during each refrain of the song.
Sherwood was a regular panelist on the second season of the 2000 To Tell the Truth revival.
