Robert Lee Minor or Bob Lee Minor (January 1, 1944) is a stunt performer, television and film actor, best known for doubling many celebrities such as: Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, Bernie Mac, Danny Glover, Carl Weathers and John Amos.Minor was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and made his first television appearance in 1973 on the television program, Search, then appeared in tons of shows such as: Barnaby Jones, McCloud, The Six Million Dollar Man, Eight is Enough, and Starsky and Hutch among other popular television programs.

Big, brawny and imposing actor and stuntman Bob Minor was born on January 1st in 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama. The 6' 2" onetime champion bodybuilder (he's a former Mr. Los Angeles bodybuilding title holder) made his debut as a stuntman doubling for James Inglehart in Russ Meyer's delightfully outrageous "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls." Minor subsequently played Barbados in Meyer's "Blacksnake." Minor's next significant big break was working as both an actor and stunt coordinator for Jack Hill on both "Coffy" and "Foxy Brown." Minor also acted for Hill in "The Swinging Cheerleaders" and "Switchblade Sisters." Minor went on to become the first black member of the Stuntman's Association of Motion Pictures in 1973. Six years later Minor became the second vice president of the Stuntman's Association of Motion Pictures. Among the many films Minor has performed stunts in are "National Treasure," "Holes," "Ocean's Eleven," "The Italian Job," "Volcano," "Witness," "The Beastmaster," "The Sword and the Sorceror," "Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde," "Let's Do It Again," "Rollerball," "Earthquake," "Cleopatra Jones," "Black Eye," "Detroit 9000," and "Black Caeser." Minor has doubled for such actors as Jim Brown, Fred Williamson, John Amos, Danny Glover, Bernie Mac, Sidney Poitier, Roger E. Mosley and Carl Weathers. He has also worked as both a second unit director and stunt coordinator on many pictures and TV shows. Minor's most memorable acting roles are Studs the chauffeur in "Coffy," a black revolutionary in "Foxy Brown," a back alley pimp in "Scream Blacula Scream," a rollerball team member in "Rollerball," Wiley in "The Deep," a stick-up man in "The Driver," Harold "Oddjob" Sakata's brutal henchman in "Death Dimension," and a vicious hitman in "Action Jackson." Minor's TV show guest spots include a Klingon on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "ER," "Walker: Texas Ranger," "L.A. Law," "Jake and the Fatman," "Alien Nation," "Matlock," "The Fall Guy," "Quincy M.E.," "Starsky and Hutch," "Wonder Woman," "Eight Is Enough," "The Fall Guy," "The Greatest American Hero," and "The Six Million Dollar Man." Minor was the stunt coordinator for the hit TV show "Magnum P.I." for six years and directed second unit on the show as well.
