Robert "Bob" Anderson (b. 19 May 1931, Hendon, London - d. 14 August 1967, Northampton) was a Grand Prix motorcycle road racer and racecar driver from England. He competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing from 1958 to 1960 and in Formula One from 1963 to the 1967 seasons. He was also a two-time winner of the North West 200 race in Northern Ireland.
After several seasons in motorcycle racing in which he finished in the top ten on several occasions, he switched to car racing in 1961, when he ran a Formula Junior Lola in a race at Snetterton. He continued to race cars and eventually became a Team Lotus Formula Junior driver, winning a race at Autodrome de Montlhéry and finishing second at Monaco.
He entered Formula One in 1963 with his own Lola Mk4 car, under the guise of DW Racing Enterprises, a small team compared to other private outfits such as Scuderia Filipinetti or Rob Walker Racing Team. DW was actually only composed of Bob and a small team of mechanics. Despite this hindrance he took the flexible little Lola to victory in the non-Championship Rome Grand Prix in that first year. In later years he ran private Brabham cars under the same banner, with his best result a third place in the 1964 Austrian Grand Prix. He was awarded the von Trips Memorial Trophy as the most successful private entrant of 1964.
In 1967 he suffered an accident while testing at Silverstone, in which he slid off the track in wet conditions and hit a marshal's post. Anderson suffered serious chest and neck injuries and died later in Northampton General Hospital.
Robert Colin Anderson (born May 5, 1939 in St. Boniface, Manitoba) is a politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1977 to 1981.
Anderson was educated at the University of Manitoba, and worked as a farmer. He served as a councillor in the municipality of Springfield, Manitoba, located east of Winnipeg, from 1968 to 1972.
He was elected to the Manitoba legislature in the provincial election of 1977, defeating incumbent New Democrat Rene Toupin by almost 2,000 votes in the riding of Springfield. The Tories won this election, and Anderson served as a backbench supporter of Sterling Lyon's government for the next four years. He lost to NDP candidate Andy Anstett by 470 votes in the 1981 election, and has not sought a return to the legislature since then.
Bob Anderson (born 15 September 1922) is an English actor and fencer. Anderson also owns a claim to fame for being a stunt double for Darth Vader in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He is one of seven people to have played that character. He was born in Hampshire.
Anderson did not receive much recognition for his role in the Star Wars films for years after their initial release, in part because David Prowse was so lauded for his portrayal that director George Lucas did not want to detract from the boost it gave the actor's career. In a 1983 interview, however, Mark Hamill paid homage to Anderson's contribution, saying, "Bob Anderson was the man who actually did Vader’s fighting. It was always supposed to be a secret, but I finally told George I didn’t think it was fair any more. Bob worked so bloody hard that he deserves some recognition. It’s ridiculous to preserve the myth that it’s all done by one man."
Anderson has various grandchildren, including Tom Froud (stunt double) - Die Another Day (2002) and another grandson by the name of Joe, a highly thought of young footballer from West Sussex, renown for his constant haircuts.
Anderson once was quoted that Viggo Mortensen was the best student he had ever had in his business in teaching swordmanship.
As a competitive fencer, he represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games in 1948 and 1952 and the World Championships in 1950 and 1953 in the sabre event. He finished tied for fifth in the team sabre event at Helsinki in 1952.
Bob Anderson (born November 7 1947, Winchester, Hampshire, England) is a former world darts champion. He was ranked as world number one for over three years in the late 1980s. Nicknamed The Limestone Cowboy, he lives in Clevedon in Somerset.
Bob Anderson is an animation director on The Simpsons. He also contributed additional sequence direction on The Simpsons Movie.
Bob Anderson (born 1947 in Manhattan, Kansas) is an American runner, photographer, publisher and film producer. He is widely known as the founder of Runner's World magazine. A desire to find information about running and racing led him to a career in magazine and book publishing for more than twenty years. After selling Runner's World to Rodale Press in 1984, he founded Ujena Swimwear, Swimwear Illustrated, and Around Town Productions. He has been the subject of media coverage for more than thirty years.
Robert Paul Anderson (born March 31, 1938 in Elizabeth, New Jersey) was an American football halfback in the National Football League for the New York Giants. He attended the United States Military Academy.

Was an Olympic fencer for Great Britain. Was called up to help out on Errol Flynn (I)'s Master of Balantree after the competition. This was his entry into the movie business.
Is arguably the most legendary of sword-fight trainers/choreographers, having trained everyone from Errol Flynn (I) to the cast of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
Doubled for David Prowse during Darth Vader's light saber duels in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), despite having been six inches shorter than Prowse and required to wear lifts.
In WWII, Bob was on board the HMS Coventry when it sunk in the Mediteranean.
Grandfather of Tom Froud.
