"Blow Your Mind" is the first single released in Redman's rap career and is found on his acclaimed debut, Whut? Thee Album. It is produced by longtime Redman collaborator Erick Sermon and is co-produced by Redman himself. Its beat contains many samples including "The Payback (Intro)" by James Brown, "The Big Bang Theory" and "Theme From The Black Hole" by Parliament and "Dance Floor", "I Can Make You Dance" and "Computer Love" by Zapp. Its percussion also samples "Outstanding" by Gap Band and "Sing A Simple Song" by Sly & The Family Stone.
It is considered one of the best songs by any Def Jam artist and is featured on two major Def Jam compilations: Def Jam's Greatest Hits: Hardcore and Def Jam Music Group Inc.: 10th Year Anniversary.
The song is highly comedic and at what point, Redman says "watch me freak it in Korean" and after stumbling through his verse, he said "ah forget it". Steve Huey of All Music Guide considers this a "great moment" on Whut? Thee Album.
Blow Your Mind is a song by Jamiroquai, the third track on their 1992 album, Emergency on Planet Earth. It was also featured on their High Times Greatest Hits compilation album.
