"Before I Forget" is the Grammy Award winning song by Slipknot and the third single from their 2004 album Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses). In February 2006, "Before I Forget" won Slipknot a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. After getting nominated for six years in a row, it was the band's first ever Grammy.

"Before I Forget" borrows certain elements from a much older Slipknot song, "Carve", recorded at some point before their self-titled album.
